Why change the port? |
I have to agree with Matthias. Why change the port? My Stowaway is too valuable to throw away. Very bad form, Handspring.

At last a Handspring to hit Palm
with the style card! Wouldn't give
up my Prism for one though - want
to see some more slimline devices
for the Edge first, and a color
screen.

Edge is cool. |
This is Handspring slim monochrome product, and it is far away the best monochrome pda ever. There will be a slim color product soon to compare with other pdas like 505, and i am sure it will be the best ever, too. Handspring is a smart company, i haven't seen mistakes so far...

Not without color |
One of the main selling points for Handspring is the springboards.
The edge, with the use of the springboard converter -- is a Prism w/o color.
I know they'll make special modules for the Edge, but to replace the ones I'm
using, it would cost $450 -- no way.

Give me color and 16 meg memory |
I strongly agree with this. Once you see the clarity of the Prism, there's no going back to monochrome. Also, I use my springboard module all the time to hold an 8 meg memory module. The Edge is only elegant and sleek without the springboard module. Until Visors come with at least 16 meg onboard memory, I can't abandon the springboard slot.
Bottom line Handspring - give me color and 16 meg memory onboard if you want me to abandon my Prism.

Needs color |
The Prism is not perfect but it has decent color -- it's still the best choice. I could NEVER go back to a monochrome device. The Edge should have had color and 16MB memory if Handspring wanted to show Palm & Microsoft what they could do.
