Pretty nice case. |
With some hesitation I recommend this case.
Cool Stuff: 1 - Killer looks - way way nice ! 2 - Very very compact - I cannot imagine a more compact case. 3 - Can Sync while in case, which is really sweet if you do that a lot (which I don't). 4 - Did I mention it looks great ? ?
Bad Stuff: 1 - The cover does not cover well enough for me. The velcro is small and will onlt break down with time. But my girlfriend said I was too worried about it. 2 - The protection is "OK", since the leather is thin (except the cover) and the sync port is not covered. Also, if dropped, the cover might not stick shut.
So I ended up getting the Rhodiana, which is only slightly wider, but closes securely, is more protective, and has surprisingly useful straps on the back - check it out !

A great case |
Got the Slipper yesterday and am absolutely delighted. I needed the little button to hotsynch but after I put it on, the process is a breeze. The velcro closures work great and the plastic on the buttons doesn't bother me at all. The case allows me to use my stowaway with no problem. I also love the belt clip. It is strong enough that I can just attach it to a pocket on my jeans or the waistband of a skirt(when my belt is too wide) and it works great. I have no trouble taking the Visor off the clip. Thank you for designing a product that is truly useful.

Looks Great, Adequate Protection! |
I wanted a case that didn't add bulk to my visor, was a flip top, easy to use, looks great, and offers protection - so I tried the E&B Slipper Case. I was concerned about the velcro, but given a few days, it works like a charm. The belt clip works fine, but does feel a little cheep in the hand. The PDA Panache stylus fits in the case just fine. The Slipper also hot syncs without any assistance devices. Would highly reccommend! Well worth the money.

Velcro does not work. Scratched up my brand new Visor. |
After reading mostly positive reviews on this website, I proceeded to purchase the Slipper case. This was a mistake. The velcro does not keep the cover closed. After 1 day in my pocket, I had a good 5 or 6 scratches on my display. It will not hotsync in the cradle with the case on. (It does hotsync with the USB cable without a problem). I tried putting the little "rube goldberg" black button on the back of the visor and it still would not hotsync. I contacted EB Cases about this problem and they offered a refund of the case but will not pay to have the display fixed. I wish I had stayed with the original case that came in the Deluxe package (which I am now back to using) because if I did I never would have a scratched display. Caveat Emptor.

I've tried several cases for my visor, and this is the first one that I love. I haven't had any problems with it hotsyncing, and it looks great too.

No problems at all! |
I just received mine today. Before purchasing, I was worried about 4 things. 1) Look 2) Sync trouble 3) Stylus interference 4) Velcro.
It turns out all of my fears were unfounded.
1) The look is very professional (mine is black). The leather feels and smells great. The fit is snug.
2) My visor in the slipper required absolutely NO effort to sync!!! No sticky paper, no pennies, nothing. It hotsyncs fine with no worries, and I do NOT have to hold it in place to sync.
3.) I was worried that the PDA Panache stylus would interfere with the form-fitting case. Again, no problem at all. There is plenty of room up top (about 1/2" for the stylus to stick out a bit without getting in the way.
4.) The velcro works great. I'm not a big fan of velcro, but it is better than having a snap-tab, IMO.
Other than that, it is a great improvement over the factory hard cover I have been using for 4-5 months now. That thing was a huge pain. The cost is very reasonable and screen protection is adequate.

Great Case |
This is the only case I purchased, so I cannot compare it to anything else. I read all of the reviews before I bought mine, and I have to agree with everything GOOD that was said. It's a great case in every way. It still requires a little attention to get it to sync, but that is minor. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Perfect case |
I lucked out finding the Slipper case w/ clip for my Visor. It's perfect. Now my Visor is with me all the time. No more jotting notes on business cards. Need to jot down a business expense...it's right there. Thanks. Great product. Would recommend. Good quality merchandise, too.

Great case, needs a few revisions |
The case is a wonderful one. I am thrilled with the ability to get to the IR, reset, and be able to Hotsync while it is on the Visor. I am not thrilled with the plastic, but it doesn't bother me. I think without it, the leather trim wouldn't stay lined up correctly.
What I think does need some improvements are the velcro. Even without cards or money in the pockets, the velcro doesn't make contact well. I think a tab on the flip cover with a snap or velcro on the back would solve the problem, and provide 'protection' for the HotSync contacts.
All in all a very nice case....of course no case is going to be perfect for everyone, but I think most will be happy with the well thought out design.
