Perfect for power users... |
I built my own adapter within a week of the instructions being posted and have been using the Kopsis software right from the very first beta release. Now I have an economical storage solution for my VDx!
While novices might not find it very intuitive in its current state, power users should feel right at home. Future enhancements and evolution of the FAAutoMover application should bring this "mainstream" soon.
As Scott pointed out in the review, the PPC people love to ask "can your Palm do that?"... well, now my Visor can!!!

sounds good |
it all sounds good, but i wish someone would build a module that let me use the xircom ethernet CF module in my visor... or just built a freaking wired ethernet springboard module... it would help me out tremendously when i run palmVNC ... my thinmodem just doesn't cut it.

no microdrive |
i should have guessed it.. now i have an ibm microdrive and I can use it in my digital camera and in my mp3 player (NEX II from frontierlabs) and I can't use it in my visor. it would be soooo cool to see the photos from my 3.3 megapixel thingie on my visor, or do other stuff with my microdrive :-/

Cost-effective, hi-cool, but sturdy? |
I'm getting mine asap, but I'm a little concerned about it holding up--especially since it looks like the card sticks out...

unlimite memory here I come |
Double thumbs up from me. I can use my Camera's flash memory for my Prism.

Shows again the advantage of the springboard slot |
I don't have a need for the product, but if I ever run out of memory space, I will definitely get one of these.

About Time! |
I ordered mine yesterday using PayPal and anxiously await it's arrival. I read about the InnoPocket CF Adapter today and at first felt like lshell1 (see below). The more I think about it though the less I regret ordering early.
The InnoPocket CF site has no contact information and looks like it may be a hoax. Even if it isn’t a hoax, it isn’t available today, like the Matchbook Drive CF adapter is. We know for a fact that the Matchbook drive is here and it works thanks to the VisorCentral review. While everyone else is waiting for a product that may never arrive, I’ll be sittin’ pretty with my new Matchbook Drive CF adapter.

Matchbook vs. InnoPocket. Where's the software? |
Jan 30, read about the Matchbook CF Adaptor...purchased it online.
Jan 31, read about the InnoPocket CF Adaptor...slapped forehead and said "D'oh!".
The Matchbook Adaptor does sound great, I'm sure I'll be happy with it. But $35 for a Matchbook Adaptor without FAFileMover software versus $25 for an InnoPocket Adaptor with FAFileMover software makes me regret my haste in ordering.
