Better than the regular stylus... |
First off, this stylus does not stick out too much as other reviewers have said.
The measly 3 mm that it sticks out is just right and doesn't get in the way of anything.
I also love the balance and weight of the thing but I do have complaints...
1) The stylus is sometimes very hard to remove (and hard on the fingernails) when it's docked completely in the silo.
2) I wish it did have the same tab sticking out as the regular Visor stylus.

Nice product! |
I'm very happy with my PDAPanache Chrome Visor stylus. Great weight, balance and feel! Since I'm using the RhinoSkin ShockSuit Visor case (which I still have mixed feeling about), I'm storing the stylus in the external stylus holder, because flap wont close correctly if the stylus is in the Visor stylus holder.
A coworker, who also has a Visor Deluxe, went nuts when he saw my new stylus... After trying mine, he's ordering one also.

Great Stylus - shame about the fit |
Its a great stylus - weight and construction are excellent. I just wish it had the ridged piece that fits the slot like the "standard" stylus. I like the way the standard stylus pops out with a flick of the thumb. Removing the custom stylus is more of a deliberate action.

great weight and tip |
I like the heaviness and great tip. I no longer fear scratching the screen. The sticking out doesnt bother me much, but I do wish it had a ridge on the side like the standard to fiti n the grrove on the side. It would let you remove it a little easier, and mainly, keep it from rolling around on a desk. At the very least, the top should have been hex shaped rather than round.... But i still like it quite a bit.

Hands Down Winner |
For "stylus only" option, this is the one to have. True, the top does protrude about 1/4" above the silo, but I find this makes it easier to retrieve. The weight/feel of this product is terrific!

What, no pen?! |
If I wanted to carry around a pen
in addition to my Palm/Visor, I
would buy one of the pen/stylus
combos that don't fit in the stylus
slot.
My choice (unfortunately) remains
the Pentopia/Pilot.

Excellent customer service |
The quality is excellent, but more importantly their service went beyond expectations.
I ordered the chrome stylus online and received an email almost immediately notifying me that the item was on backorder. They promised me 1-2 weeks, and that I could cancel with an included link.
The stylus arrived, in the timeframe promised, and they included a StickPlus Stylus (pen and stylus combo) free of charge.
Lessons that they've learned:
(1) Swift upfront communication
(2) Set honest exepectations (1-2 weeks)
(3) Make me happy (the spiffy StickPlus)
I'm a happy guy and will recommend them in the future.

This is what the Visor stylus ought to be. Maybe Handspring could include it with the deluxe package, and make it an option with the basic. No trouble with it sticking out; it's only about the thickness of two nickles.

Nice weight, good quality |
Beats the heck out of the standard stylus. Nice quality, fast delivery. Very good overall. A bit concerned about how it sticks up a bit, but we'll see if it has any affect at all on the springboards when they come out later this quarter.

Even though it sticks up a bit, it still fits great! |
Dispite being initially concerned with how high the stylus would stick out of the top of my Visor, I'm still love it! The stylus, when fully seated, does stick out of your Visor by between 1/8 & 1/4 inches. I was afraid that this would interfere with future Springboards, but it WON'T! As one other poster said, any springboard that wouldn't fit with the stylus sticking up would interefere with removing even the original stylus, which would be no good. Every oversized springboard picture that I've seen (MiniJam by Innogear, GPS mod from Quo Vadis, Modem from Handspring) will work this this stylus. Weight it great, feels very nice. I love it myself!
