Palm buys Peanut Press

Palm has acquired eBook website Peanut Press and has rebranded the electronic content company as Palm Digital Media. Financial details were not disclosed. The Peanut Reader software will now be called Palm Reader™. No word on if the icon for the new app will be a crystal ball or not. :)

Coinciding with the announcement is a discount on the new Stephen King book Dreamcatcher. You can buy the eBook for the "low" price of $14.95 (normally $28.00!) until March 24.
