Updated: New King eBook
Stephen King is once again testing the eBook waters, this time by having the first installment of a new serial novel The Plant available via his website for $1, and is available in PDF, TXT, HTML, and the Palm DOC format.
You can pay the $1 up front or use the honor system and return later to purchase it. If more than 75% of downloads are purchased, King will continue to publish the novel in segments on his website. Click here for a CNN news item on the eBook. I've heard that there have been plenty of downloads and payments to date. Thanks to BruceHP and Larry for letting me know about the Palm DOC format.
