Total Recall (not the movie)
Remember the Recorder 1850 voice recorder by Sycom? Well, Sycom is now Digital 5, and the Recorder 1850 is now called the TOTAL RECALL Recorder (TRR). What does the TRR do? From the press release:The TOTAL RECALL Recorder for the Handspring Visor, a 3.5-ounce powerhouse digital voice recorder, has memory capacity for either 4MB or 8 MB for 1 1/2 or 3 hours of recording. Included are a variety of editing and organizing functions that help streamline and schedule recorded notes. These features range from the ability to instantly access any recording, eliminating the need to advance and rewind, to the ability to insert and delete recorded material in word processor-style. TOTAL RECALL also incorporates Digital 5's latest technological advance, the Opera 701 Voice Recording Platform, which is setting the standard for audio input devices. Targus will be distributing the TRR at the end of 3Q. We'll bring you more information on this module as soon as we receive it.
