Treo in Canada, eh?
Handspring today announced an agreement to launch
Handspring's Treo 180 Communicator across Canada exclusively through
Rogers AT&T Wireless Canada's leading wireless communications service provider.
"Treo represents a new line of innovation for Handspring and we are
pleased to be working with Rogers AT&T Wireless to introduce the device
to the Canadian market," said Greg Woock, vice president of North
American sales for Handspring, Inc. "Business professionals and
consumers alike will benefit from the integration of wireless voice and
text messaging on this powerful, compact device."
The Treo 180 series will be available this April 2002 through Rogers
AT&T Wireless' authorized dealer and retail locations across Canada
including RadioShack, Future Shop, Business Depot and GlenTel or by
visiting the Rogers AT&T Wireless Web Site. Both Treo
180 and 180g will cost CDN $749.99 with a two-year service plan and
$849.99 with a one-year service plan.
