The MatchBookDrive is light, but well made. The flexible plastic case survives drops and being squished and the new milled opening is a great improvement. The addition of colors is a great idea that offers a choice of matching adapters to users with Ice, Orange or Blue Visors. For power users, the optional Type II slot opening and SmartMedia adapter are also clever. The short internal track is the MatchBookDrive's only significant fault, but once the CF Card is in, it's a non-issue. Also, having to purchase the FAFileMover software separately is a nuisance. MatchBookDrives ship very quickly within the states and are available now at

The InnoPocket is a slick commercial solution. They include a manual and a colorful box and the FAFileMover software comes on a bundled disk. The case is made of a more traditional clear plastic that may crack when dropped, but don't drop it! The real plus of the InnoPocket is the tight opening and internal track. It's nearly impossible to incorrectly insert the CF Card, and it stays put when inserted. InnoPocket ships internationally from Hong Kong, but they are offering free shipping. They are available at

You really can't go wrong with either solution. As a testament to their flexible plastic cases, MatchBookDrive will replace broken modules free of charge. The InnoPocket is well-made and includes the FAFileMover Software. The addition of translucent colors makes the MatchBookDrive a nice accessory to a Visor Deluxe. I'm currently hoping for more software programs to support CF directly.
Little guy or big corporation, the real winner here is the Visor User. Let the wars continue!
