Not for power users |
If you want 16mb, color, 300MHz, complete compatability with any add on device and world peace then the Edge is not for you. If you want a great product that is solid, stylish and blazing fast then the Edge is it.

8M ram is not enough |
8M ram is only suitable for B & W diaplay. My Prism has upgraded to 16M ram and with 8M flash module. It is total 24M ram and just meets my requirement.

Dreaming of New Visor PDA |
I am dreaming of the New Visor with the same size or bigger size as Edge and equips with 16M ram or 32M ram, 320x320 resolution, 16 bit colour and more long lasting rechargable battery.
Today, ram is very cheap and I wonder why there is always 8M ram for Visor, Sony and Visor.

Visor Edge not Really Aimed at Current Visor Owners |
Was the Visor Edge really meant to appeal to current Visor owners? Maybe the rich ones? Otherwise, Handspring is most likely attempting to get in the "dress shirt pocket" of corporate types who for the last few years have loved the slim, sleek, shirt pocket size & weight of the Palm V series. If you are a common person with a common salary and already have a Prism, Platinum, or Deluxe Handspring probably wasn't aiming at you anyway. They are attempting to catch some of the corporate Palm V crowd (as well as some of those gotta have the latest gadget geeks!).
