Mine broke too |
Mine broke too after a few days. (while sitting down) Sounds like replacing the clip makes it work.

Clip is Very Fragile |
I bought the cost-effective Plastic Beltclip about 3 months ago and was very disappointed that the clip snapped off the second or third time that I sat in my SUV. I do not believe that this solution is favorable for anyone other than doctors, managers or others that are are standing and walking for the greater portion of the day.
I would buy another one today if I thought that it would last more than a week, because it was convenient while it lasted. It was just constructed of cheap materials and not designed to endure much adversity.

Broke the 1st day |
The clip has no give , I went to sit down while wearing it and it broke within 2 hours of using it. Sent back for a full refund and purchased a Rhodiana case with a swivel belt clip, I love it!

Love the convenience, but too fragile |
I love the design of the Handspring
belt clip... it keeps the screen
protected, while giving a little
protection from every day bumps and
scrapes... Unfortunately, the clip
on my first one broke after a
measly two weeks... I called
customer service and got my money
back without a problem, so I
ordered another... The second
lasted a good 7 months, but just
broke again the other day... as
much as I like the case itself, and
it's remarkable ease of use, I'll
be looking for another case soon...

Too little protection! |
I bought this when I got my Visor, thinking it would be a cheap alternative to other belt-carry systems. Well, it certainly was cheap, but not much of an alternative.
As others have said, the Visor itself is very exposed. Furthermore, I found that sitting down in a chair with arms could occasionally pop the visor out of the holster! Not a good thing. Furthermore, if the Visor didn't pop out, too often the wimpy belt clip woul allow the holster, Visor and all to come straight off my belt.
In the end, my Visor ended up taking one unintended flight too many and busted the screen. I've since switched to a padded case from Rhodiana, and haven't regretted the $40 it cost me one minute.

Unclipps from the belt easily |
I used it for awhile, and discovered that it unclipped very easily. I found myself grabbing it to hold it, or removing it from my belt at certain times. Then I let a friend try it , and it flipped off his belt and smashed his Visors diplay. So I quickly retired it.

cheap plastic clip breaks too easily |
I really liked the holster feel of the
Handspring Plastic Beltclip, but the
plastic clip just doesn't hold up. The
plastic is way to thin and soft. On the
other hand, I have a small flashlight with
a plastic clip that is much sturdier and
has lived up to much abuse. The Handspring
Beltclip broke after just a few weeks. I
wouldn't recommend it at all.

Fragile |
The spring/clip junction broke too
easily when it twisted on my belt.
The unit is too fragile. I prefer
the 2-piece units with a belt clip
and round knob that slides and locks
into it.

Makes your Visor wearable |
This belt clip/case is great for portability of your Visor handheld device. When clipped to your belt, it feels no larger than a cell phone and never seems obtrusive. My only complaint is that when I remove just the Visor from the belt clip, I many times slide just the Springboard cover out of the Visor instead of retreiving the Visor itself. Perhaps when I buy a Springboard module, it will be secure enough to not jump out with the slightest tug.
