NxCable - "COLD"Synch |
Failed right of the bag. Serial synchronization under Win 95 on a Dell Latitude Laptop with a Visor Prism did not worked. Instructions followed to the letter to no avail. I think a received a poorly assembled cable despite having a "QC Passed" sticker label.
Will return back to PalmGear.com

and when they do, they might need both USB and Serial.

Great Cable |
I like to keep my VDX in a leather case which makes it difficult to hotsync in a cradle. I also sync with multiple machines and they don't all have USB.
So, when this cable became available, I jumped for it. I get to keep my Deluxe in it's case, and I can plug the cable into which ever port I need.
And since I travel a lot, size matters! I got sick of carrying my bulky cradle in my computer bag. This cable is perfect.
It is also convenient to use with the "Pebbles Project" pc control applications and PalmAmp. I can hold my Visor in my palm (like it should be used) near my laptop and run these apps.

as a Mac user I say |
I do not understand why this is being marketed to Mac users too when all we can use is the USB port. It would be cheaper to just get the handspring travel cable or a new cradle.
