Recommended with exception |
Quality product from a quality organization. Would not recommend to individuals who have an issue with the stylus extending above the Visor's top. Solution is to have Visor voice recognition and eliminate need for any styli...good or bad.

Sticks out too much |
Seems like they just repackaged a stylus for another PDA. Why otherwise would you use a nail head that sticks out too much? Copying Handspring's stylus would've been a better design decision (and it wouldn't roll off a table).
I love its weight, feel, and tip, but I resent the marketing of it as being for Visors.

Toss the Handspring stylus NOW |
The handspring stylus kept scratching my screen, while this stylus feels alot better and is much better for your screen. I highly reccomend it.

Great improvement over Handspring's stock stylus |
Nice weighting. Tip does not scratch screen like stock stylus from Handspring. This makes data entry much more accurate and easy.
Reset button is nice touch and should be included in all styli for Visors.
Does protrude 4 mm above top of stylus port when fully inserted, but as another reviewer pointed out this is a non-factor. Any springboard module affected by this would have problems blocking the stylus' insertion and removal anyway.
Highly recommended. Once you use this stylus you will never go back to the stock stylus again.

Great with WriteRights! |
The tip of this stylus works very well with WriteRight screen protectors. With some styli and WriteRights there is excessive friction which causes the tip to drag. The PDA Panache stylus tip is hard and smooth enough that it glides effortlessly across the screen protector.
The finish (I have the black stylus) and weight of this stylus are also nice.

Great addition to your visor |
Despite concerns raised by others that the stylus sticks up to far or might block a future springboard, I found the stylus to be well designed and a great improvement over the stock stylus. It does stick up perhaps 1/8 of an inch, but that is less than the Visor cover sticks up when attached to its back. As far as springboards go, any springboard that would be affected by this stylus would block any stylus from being stored in the Visor. This simply is not a concern.

I would like to give a good or bad review to the customer stylus for the visor, but I can't even place an order! The site craps out every time!! And, to make things worse, there no real contact info for order information.

Almost there |
I have used a PDA Panache stylus in my Palm III for over a year and have really liked the heft of the product. With this background I bought the Chrome Custom Stylus for my new BVD. I had been thinking that everyone was exagerating about how much the stylus sticks out of the case, since I knew that the Palm III stylus did have an overlapping head. I was definitely not expecting the stylus to be literally 1/4" too long for the Visor case. Judging by the construction, it was intended to be this long. It also doesn't have the weight I was expecting from my experience with their Palm III stylus. Granted, it is better than the stock stylus, but not to the quality I was expecting from using their other products. The only reason I could recommend this stylus is that I don't know of any other comparable options. I haven't seen either of Handspring's alternatives, but I really liked the concept of an all metal stylus.

Makes the Visor look like an AM radio |
Writes well...but sticks up too far. If I had fingernails as thick as 2x4's I might need it to stick out his far...but as it is...it is just annoying...and makes many cases unusable...
