PocketChess 1.0
Eight levels of difficulty provide appropriate game play for players of any level. This was the perfect Chess game for the PalmOS. But that was two years ago. The black-and-white Pocket Chess 1.0 is showing it's age.
PocketChess 1.0 features:
Make no mistake, it's a great application, but it pales in comparison to Pocket Chess 2.0. If you are a chess fanatic, buy Pocket Chess 2.0, which includes more features than I thought could fit in a Chess app. It's a shame that they didn't at least include a crippled trial version of 2.0.
Pocket Dice
In the game of PokerDice, the player tries to collect poker hands using rolled dice combinations. The faces of each die are marked with playing cards: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten and Nine. You accumulate points as you creates pairs, two- and three-of-a-kind, straights, and full-houses. It's use of color is very sparse and it is a game that is showing its age.
