Holiday PDA shortage possible

This brief C|Net article fortells of potential Christmas shortages for handheld computers. Both Palm and Sony mention how the shortage affects them.
"We're in backlog on literally every single product in the line," Palm chief competitive officer Michael Mace said. "Today the thing holding us back is our ability to procure parts. That is by far the biggest barrier to further growth by Palm."
It is unfortunate that these shortages are happening now, when PDAs are getting widespread acceptance in the consumer market. Get those Christmas presents early!
