Hawkins also spoke on voice recognition, which he does not believe will ever dominate handhelds. According to Hawkins, color displays may "use more power and are more expensive, but they're gorgeous."
The Visor will support WAP as soon as the Palm OS does, although Hawkins is unsure how well it will work for users. Hawkins also believes that Bluetooth will have an impact. At the conference, he demonstrated two Visors in a chat session at a distance of 70 feet.
