According to Handspring spokesman Alan Bush Visors have begun piling up in Handspring's storage areas. The orders are being processed and Visor will ship "very soon". The earthquake in Taiwan did affect Handspring (parts of the cradle is manufactured there).
Other quick notes...
Navicom's GPS Springboard will ship in November for $139.99.
Relve Design will sell a rechargable battery pack for the Visor. Their Unimount cradle needs to be used to recharge.
JP Systems will be offering a PalmVII like online information service for $6 a month. That does not include connection costs.
Bluetooth Springboard can speak to another Visor up 30ft away. For longer distances a repeater is required.
RioPort will not feature any external controls (like MiniJam do). The mockup units on display are also quite large.
More to come...
