In a recent Fortune article, Handspring CEO Hawkins is quoted as saying:
"This is not a one-product company. We've got a lot of creative ideas, and we just had to get one to market. We weren't going to spend extra time trying to come up with some exotic materials and new highfalutin industrial design. I can do that later."
