Dan Briody from inforworld.com has composed a rather harsh article about Visor and Handspring.
"I don't think we need a whole other company just to provide a device that is almost exactly like the PalmPilot, only more like a toy ... Oh yeah, and it's $50 cheaper than the least-expensive Palm offering. So along with that savings, you get a device that feels brittle and cheap and uses AAA batteries instead of the more convenient rechargeable battery used by the Palm V. Is there any reason to switch devices? Not on your life."
He concludes:
"It's [Visor] a Game Boy with an organizer and the Graffiti writing system."
