Xircom announced its SpringPort Wireless Data module that works with GSM, PCS, and PDC cell phones to provide users with wireless Internet access and the ability to send SMS messages. The SpringPort Wireless Data module is $129 and will begin shipping by the end of the month.

Card Access is coming out with an expanded Thinmodem+ that comes with all of the features of the standard Thinmodem but also has 8MB of memory. Street date is January with pricing not set at this time. Card Access is working with Audible.com on the Audible Advisor, a Springboard module that will have 16MB of memory and up to 4 hours of playback time, all in a standard-size module. The Audible Advisor will street for $119 and have rebates that can bring the price down to $20. Very cool!

Omnisky will begin selling its wireless products at nationwide Staples retail locations.

If you're a big fan of the ReplayTV Digital Video Recorder (DVR), we saw a prototype of a PQA that lets you use the MyReplayTV service to schedule a recording when you're away from home. MyReplay will be available in late November and the PQA is still a ways off.

Cutting Edge Software released Quickoffice today, which includes Quicksheet and Quickword for $39.95.

The Energyclip that allows the SoundsGood module to be played outside the Visor is now available for $39.99.

Landware showed James their floating*point stylus that will be available for the Visor mid-December. The floating*point has a patent-pending tip that retracts slightly when you press down hard on the Visor's screen. The tip does not use a spring to do this (must be magic :-)). Now I don't have to worry about people "borrowing" my Visor and pressing down too hard on the screen!

We have an interview with Andre Eisenbach from InnoGear for you to complete the event.
